Outdoor team building activities are a great way for people to have fun. It doesn’t necessarily bring your team together. We touch on the difference between team building and team dividing in several of our posts and videos.
We highly recommend you look at your goals and desired outcomes when it comes to team building. Do you truly want to build your team and make your team more effective? Do you want your team to just have fun? At least some of your team? Do you want better communication?
Most outdoor team building activities don’t provide team building results. Most of them are simply fun and actually can drive a team further apart.
